We are Wheeler Munroe Leather Co.
In 2012, Wheeler designed our first leather tool belt made specifically for gardeners to solve a simple problem: tools lost or misplaced in the garden. She refined and expanded those original concepts, and through an early partnership with Erin Benzakein of Floret Flowers, what she created became The Farmer-Florist Tool Belt — launching a global movement that changed how flower farmers and gardeners carry their tools worldwide.
Today, we continue to cut and sew every belt to order in our mountain cabin workshop. Everything we make comes from our collection of original designs — crafted for flower farmers, florists, gardeners, fine woodworkers, and finish carpenters.

North Carolina Maple Syrup
Family farmed in the Blue Ridge Mountains
We are Waterfall Farm,
a small family farm tucked away in the mountains of Ashe County, NC. We make a limited amount of syrup each year during a slim window of weeks in late winter. We are the southernmost commercial maple producer in the country (that we know of), and our southern season for syrup production generally runs from mid January through mid March. That is the time of year when our sap runs.
We tap sugar maple and red maple trees from about 25 acres of mixed hardwood forest on our farm, boiling the collected sap down in our wood-fired sugar house. Because we are in the south, it takes about 70 gallons of sap to make a single gallon of maple syrup. We have a dedicated farm blog for Waterfall Farm on the farm website where we share our farm story each winter during sugar season along with updates about our once annual syrup release.
